The Jewelers' Building - 35 East Wacker Drive

Providing years of service to preserve the historical terra cotta wall surfaces for another one of Chicago's best known Landmark buildings. "The Jewelers' Building", named for its original use with car elevators to securely unload valuable goods, is being restored on an extended exterior repair maintenance program at the terra cotta exterior walls while being conscience and sensitive to the owners' budget and needs. Significant terra cotta repairs and replacements and steel restoration and replacements have been installed at the dome and oculus, upper tower, 24th floor water towers and cupolas, projecting cornices and terra cotta walls at the of the base building on a continued basis for long-term preservation strategies.
